Inside the Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai at Deira Islands

Dubai’s newest hotel has opened on the Deira Islands.

With 607 rooms and suites, the Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai now welcomes overnight guests.

It is the first hotel in Dubai from Centara Hotels & Resorts, one of Thailand’s leading hotel groups and a brand known for its family resorts.

Located directly on the shore of the Deira Islands, Dubai’s new waterfront city, the hotel is just steps from the recently opened Souk Al Marfa waterfront market.

The “family-themed” hotel has a lot to offer to keep the kids entertained, and up to two children can stay and eat for free with every reservation.

Water slides, obstacle course and candy-themed spa

In addition to having its own water park with an oceanfront swimming pool, slides, rock jump points and a meandering lazy river, the hotel also has an outdoor playground, golf course. aerial obstacles and a candy-themed spa for young people.

There are also three children’s clubs adapted to each age, including one dedicated to adolescents.

For adults, there are plenty of water sports, a state-of-the-art gymnasium and the luxurious Spa Cenvaree, which has hot and cold plunge pools and offers a wide variety of treatments, including a classic Thai massage.

The resort is inspired by mythical Thai and Arabian adventures, and brightly painted elephants, murals, and decorations can be found throughout the hotel, including in the colorful Mirage Family Lounge where bean bags, games, and refreshments await the whole family.

When it comes to dining, there is something for the most demanding, with nine different restaurants and bars.

These include an authentic Thai restaurant called Suan Bua and Uno Mas, an Argentinian grill. The ocean-themed Sands Beach Club is the perfect place to eat if you’re craving seafood, with colorful murals, outdoor and indoor tables.

On the rooftop, Sheesh specializes in Lebanese mezze and a variety of shisha flavors. Other outlets at the resort include Vistas, Lobby Bar, Zing Deli, and Waves Pool Bar.

Bunk beds and sea view

With over 600 rooms at the hotel, there’s one for all group sizes. In keeping with the family theme, Centara Mirage Beach Resort Dubai offers a choice of private rooms, connecting rooms, rooms with bunk beds and large two-bedroom suites.

All offer views of the Dubai city skyline or a view of the sparkling Arabian Gulf. The 50 square meter Mirage Junior Suites are a good choice if you need a little more space. Each has bunk beds, a king-size bed, a private bathroom and panoramic views.

The hotel is Centara’s first in Dubai, but guests can rest assured that they will be in good hands as it is the brand’s third family-friendly resort which also operates hotels in the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Thailand.

The Lost World-themed Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort Pattaya is one of Thailand’s most popular family resorts, and in Vietnam, the hotel group owns the Explorer’s Playground-themed Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne.
